1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using QuickVerse ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

QuickVerse is an AI-powered service that provides real-time scripture detection and transcription for churches, pastors, and worship services. The Service includes audio transcription, scripture detection, integration with presentation software (FreeShow, EasyWorship, ProPresenter), and export capabilities.

3. User Accounts

To use QuickVerse, you must:

  • Create an account with accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
  • Be at least 13 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction)
  • Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

4. Subscription and Payment

Subscription Plans: QuickVerse is offered on a subscription basis. Current pricing is £25 per month.

Payment: By subscribing, you agree to pay the subscription fees as displayed at the time of purchase. Payments are processed securely through Stripe.

Billing Cycle: Subscriptions are billed monthly on a recurring basis. Your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting support. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

Price Changes: We reserve the right to modify subscription prices at any time. Existing subscribers will be notified of price changes at least 30 days in advance.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Violate any laws in your jurisdiction
  • Transmit any viruses, malware, or malicious code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use the Service to violate the privacy or intellectual property rights of others
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without our written permission

6. Intellectual Property

Our Rights: The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by QuickVerse and is protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

Your Content: You retain ownership of any content (audio recordings, transcriptions, notes) that you upload or create using the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to use, store, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

Feedback: Any feedback, comments, or suggestions you provide about the Service may be used by us without obligation to you.

7. Service Availability and Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service. We may also impose limits on certain features or restrict access to parts of the Service without notice or liability.

8. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

Service Provided "As Is": The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

No Guarantees: We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. The accuracy and reliability of transcriptions and scripture detection may vary.

Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuickVerse shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless QuickVerse, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or violation of any third-party rights.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may do so by contacting support or cancelling your subscription.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
